Banded Sandhill Crane

Banded Sandhill Crane

Hello Randy,

The crane you photographed was banded at Modoc National Wildlife Refuge as a chick in August 1992. It's band number is: 599-42153. I copied this message to Dominic Bachman, the biologist at Modoc Refuge in case he has additional details to report on the bird. We have a bunch of marked cranes out and about eastern Oregon and northeastern California and I would appreciate you keeping a lookout for others.

Thanks much,
