Thanks for sending the photos - they're great! The Ross's goose in the second photo, with a white neckband, is part of a small study to do with visibility of collars. The first character is all I can make out and it looks like a 1. That means this bird was banded at Queen Maud Gulf Migratory Bird Sanctuary, approx 67°N and 100°W, sometime between 2003 and 2005.
